Natural History NOW!

This blog is devoted to the natural world, to inform readers of the profound changes that are occurring in nature due to global climate change. While there are many sources of information available on rising temperatures and subsequent changes in phenology, drought, fire, and the like, the most moving stories address the threats to the animals (and their habitats) that we love. Polar bears and pikas are only 2 of the many examples of species whose habitats are becoming less and less hospitable, and this blog will share their plight. I will summarize results of research that might not be known beyond readers of the published literature in ecology and conservation biology.

I plan to post once or twice a week, so come back regularly to see what's new in the natural history of climate change. And if you have a lead you think I should follow up on, leave a comment! Thanks for reading!
